Skipper

Take customers out on the water
teach sailing skills
have a sailing qualification or previous experience as a skipper 
must be assessed by the sailing captain or chief sailing instructor as competent prior to taking customers out 

Pontoon Helper

Help launch and recover boats
Support customers to get in and out of boats using hoist if required
Operate the flag system to call boats in as required 
Act as pontoon manager liaising with reception via radio about who is on the water and availability of boats

Safety boat driver

Must hold an RYA power boat certificate
Ensure power  boat is in working order and ready for use at the start of each session
Provide safety cover for all customers on the water as required.  Set up buoys on the lake as required 
Ensure power boat is put away appropriately at the end of each session.

Set up and Maintenance

Rig dinghy's before the start of each session and ensure all parts are in good working order.
Launch dinghy's and tie up on pontoon ready for use.
​Derig dinghy's at the end of the day and pack away and ensure it is appropriately stored at the end of the day.
Ensure dinghy's are maintained in good order and report any issues to the bosun
